Love all your grace-gifts Stefanie! And if I had to add one myself it would be this: even though there is a possibility my horse may be on the injured reserve list for eight months, I am thankful that I have the means to take care of him and that I will still be able to love on him! (Thanks…I needed to get a positive viewpoint on that!)

    • StefanieYoungBrown

      Thank you, Mindy!

What a sweet way to look at a trying situation and see HIM in the midst! Love it!
So glad we were able to spend time on the “Incourage Couch” with sweet Diana, sharing, encouraging and inspiring. I loved every minute of it!

      • http://www.newequus.com/ Mindy @ New Equus

Yes! Sharing on the couch was so much fun! And I’m so glad that it was with Diana and you! :)

          Agree…

  • Aly Severance

If I chose one from my list it would be: His steadfast love endures forever…

    • StefanieYoungBrown

      Amen, Aly! So thankful…

Belly laughs- Oh who doesn’t love a good one of those! I am going to be writing more on gratitude this month again. Right now I am grateful for the comforts that God has given me in the midst of sadness. His word doesn’t lie when it says, Those who mourn shall be comforted! I had lost my dog 3 months ago and then just 2 weeks ago I was awoken in bed to my beloved cat (whom I have had 10 yrs) collapsing against me and dying unexpectedly next to me in bed. It was such a sad experience, but God did it again! He brought me comfort this time in the form of an injured homeless cat who needed some love. The vet said I had to bring her in until her fever was gone (she had been attacked by something) and this cat had this weird 6th sense where she would jump upon my lap the moment I was about to cry and then not leave until I was done. She also slept with me that first difficult night trying to go back to bed in the place where Tasha had suddenly passed next to me. These are the things I am currently grateful for!!

I am so sorry for you recent losses. I grew up with pets who were my “friends”. Being an only at home, they were great company and faithful companions. So thankful that even in the midst of hurt and pain, He comforts!!
I love that we are on the same page this month, focusing on gratitude:) Love it!

Me too! I hope to start a link up in the future for my online gratitude journal. Yes, pets can be “friends” or family members, but God has been good!

        • StefanieYoungBrown

          Yes, He’s so good!

Wish you the best as you look to begin a “link up”. Sounds great!

This morning on my walk, I noticed that the leaves on the trees across the street are just starting to change colors.

    • StefanieYoungBrown

How beautiful!! I’m still waiting for that here in Texas:)
      Thank you…

  • StefanieYoungBrown

    Amen, Becky!!
