Have You Tasted and Seen?

Have you tasted and seen?

the sweet flavor of forgiveness

the hearty portion of redemption

the tangy kick of restoration

the spicy bite of reconciliation

the savory serving of salvation

Have you tasted and seen?

What have you tasted and seen?

Tell me, tell me, tell me (oh, pretty please) tell me…

I LOVE when human life parallels Christian life.  Our air went out & iIt’s been in the 100′s here!! Let me tell you how AMAZING a cold glass of water tastes when you are TRULY thirsty.  You can’t get enough!  Same thing with fasting…it’s amazing the next day how DELICIOUS food tastes after being without.  Do I thirst & hunger for God that same way I thirst for water & hunger for food ?  I LOVE your posts as they ALWAYS make me think!!

    • StefanieYoungBrown

Thank you, Kim!  Your experience is the perfect picture of how we should live our lives ~ hunger and thirsting after HIM!  I certainly hope your aircon is back on now:))

I always love your visits.  You’re such an encourager, my friend!

      Have a happy Sunday…

Not sure how to describe the ‘taste’ or ‘flavor’ of His patience, but
I’m so very grateful that our Father is patient through our shortcomings
and mess-ups! Love your image, Stephanie, and the encouragement to
desire more of Him!! Visiting from S&S … hope you have a blessed
    week! :)
