As I mentioned last week, I am re-reading One Thousand Gifts. Better yet, I’m re-reading it along with twelve friends who are first-time readers. We began informally meeting once a month to discuss a chapter. To say we are having a blast is a vast understatement.
While sitting in our crude circle, blessings flow, gifts are shared and thanksgiving, joy and grace ~Eucharisteo ~ flow like warm water from a spring. Our rejoicing goes beyond us. It reaches, encourages and uplifts those in which we share the circle. We’re reminded: We serve the same Father, one who does not play favorites. All of us are blessed above and beyond what we should be. How amazing! How humbling!
