UpLIFTing GIFTing ~ Eucharisteo: Grace, Thanksgiving, Joy…

I’m re-reading One Thousand Gifts.  As my eyes travel left to right, new words leap off the page at me.  Although familiar with the typed thoughts, new thoughts emerge.  As I’m reading, I’m seeing things differently than my first time through.  I don’t want to speculate why, just want to be thankful.  I celebrate EUCHARISTEO ~ grace, thanksgiving, joy ~ as I, again, find blessing, encouragement, inspiration and motivation in the words so carefully penned, typed.

Continuing the count…

3 gifts found behind a door today:

  • 545.  an anxious and excited 8-year-old waiting to jump out and scare me…

  • 546.  the office of a friend where encouragement was found…
  • 547.  the refuge I call “home”…

3 ways I feel the love of God:

  • 548.  through the gentle kiss of my son…
  • 549.  within the loving embrace of my husband…
  • 550.  in the wrinkled hands of my aging mother…

a gift in losing, finding and making something:

  • 551.  losing my life in HIS which reaps peace, joy and grace…
  • 552.  finding life in HIM gave me eternal life…
  • 553.  making a life with my husband makes life more beautiful…

3 gifts in the shadows:
