{Way Two ~ Love Is Kind…}
Love, Joy, Peace, Patience, KINDNESS, Goodness, Faithfulness, Gentleness and Self Control…
The FRUIT of the Spirit.
The EVIDENCE of a communal relationship with him.
KIND words spoken…
Kind words are like honey–sweet to the soul and healthy for the body. ~ Proverbs 16:24 (NLT)

KIND care given…
But a Samaritan, who was on a journey, came upon him; and when he saw him, he felt compassion, and came to him and bandaged up his wounds, pouring oil and wine on them; and he put him on his own beast, and brought him to an inn and took care of him. On the next day he took out two denarii and gave them to the innkeeper and said, ‘Take care of him; and whatever more you spend, when I return I will repay you.’ ~ Luke 10:33-35 (NASB)
KINDly restore…
Brothers, if anyone is caught in any transgression, you who are spiritual should restore him in a spirit of gentleness. Keep watch on yourself, lest you too be tempted. ~ Galatians 6:1 (ESV)
KINDly forgive…

KINDly Encourage…
Therefore encourage one another and build each other up, just as in fact you are doing. ~ 1 Thessalonians 5:11 (NIV)
Love IS kind. It speaks and demonstrates kindness. It sets his followers us apart which allows us to point directly to him.
So…
- Instead of “Hurry up!”, let’s ask “What can I do to help?”.
- Instead of offering a passing word, may we offer ourselves.
- Instead of walking by quickly, pretending not to see, may we meet the need in question.
- Instead of tearing down, let’s restore.
- Instead of harboring unforgiveness, may we offer forgiveness freely and willingly.
- Instead of pointing out what’s lacking, may we encourage and upLIFT others.
Love is KIND.
What can we do to show just that?
